Welcome to Navodians (“we”, “our”, “us”, “the Company”). These Terms of
Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the online community forum located at
https://www.navodians.com (the “Site” or “Forum”), operated by
Phantix AI Private Limited, a company incorporated under the laws of India.

By accessing or using the Forum, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If
you do not agree, please do not use the Forum.

2. About Navodians

Navodians.com is an exclusive online community platform for alumni of
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas (JNVs) across India. The Forum facilitates
networking, discussion, collaboration, and resource sharing among Navodian
alumni.

The Forum is operated by Phantix AI Private Limited (“the Company”).
The Company may offer other products and services under different terms.
These Terms apply only to use of the Forum at https://www.navodians.com.

3. Your Permission to Use the Forum

Subject to these Terms, the Company grants you a limited, non-exclusive,
non-transferable, revocable permission to access and use the Forum for
personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

Everyone who uses the Forum must agree to these Terms.

4. Conditions for Use

Your permission to use the Forum is subject to the following conditions:

  1. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Forum.
  2. You must be a genuine alumnus or alumna of a Jawahar Navodaya
    Vidyalaya    , or have a direct and legitimate connection to the Navodian
    community.
  3. You may no longer use the Forum if the Company contacts you directly to
    inform you that you may not.
  4. You must use the Forum in accordance with Acceptable Use
    and Content Standards.
  5. You must comply with all applicable laws of India and your jurisdiction
    while using the Forum.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  1. Break any applicable law — local, state, national or international —
    while using the Forum.
  2. Access or attempt to access another user’s account without their
    explicit permission.
  3. Buy, sell, or trade usernames, account access or other unique
    identifiers on the Forum.
  4. Send unsolicited advertisements, spam, chain letters, pyramid schemes
    or other commercial solicitations through the Forum, except where
    explicitly permitted under Section 7 — Affiliate Links & Commercial
    Content    .
  5. Automate access to the Forum using bots, crawlers, scrapers, or other
    automated tools — except for publicly available search engine indexing
    bots.
  6. Use the Forum to send bulk emails, mass messages or distribute content
    to distribution lists or group mail aliases.
  7. Falsely claim or imply affiliation with or endorsement by the Company,
    Navodians.com, any Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, or any government body.
  8. Embed or inline-link images, media or other non-hypertext content from
    the Forum on external websites without permission.
  9. Remove copyright, trademark or proprietary notices from any content
    downloaded from the Forum.
  10. Display any part of the Forum within frames (<iframe>) on other
    websites without written permission from the Company.
  11. Circumvent, disable or otherwise interfere with any security or
    access restriction features of the Forum.
  12. Impose an unreasonable or disproportionate load on the Forum’s
    infrastructure through excessive requests or automated traffic.
  13. Impersonate any person, including other Navodian community members,
    Company staff, teachers, government officials or public figures.
  14. Collect or harvest personal data of other users without their
    explicit consent.
  15. Encourage, facilitate or assist anyone in violating these Terms.

6. Content Standards

All content you submit to the Forum — including posts, replies, messages,
profile information and uploaded files — must comply with the following
standards:

  1. No illegal content — do not submit content that is unlawful,
    prohibited or violates any applicable law or regulation.
  2. No harmful content — do not submit content that is harassing,
    threatening, abusive, hateful, defamatory, obscene, sexually explicit,
    or otherwise harmful to any individual or group.
  3. No discrimination — do not submit content that incites hatred,
    promotes discrimination or disparages any person or group based on
    caste, religion, gender, race, nationality, disability, sexual
    orientation or any other characteristic.
  4. No intellectual property violations — do not submit content that
    infringes any copyright, trademark, patent or other intellectual
    property right of any person or entity.
  5. No privacy violations — do not post personally identifiable
    information of others without their explicit consent.
  6. No misinformation — do not post deliberately false, misleading or
    fabricated content, including false claims about other Navodians.
  7. No malicious code — do not submit content containing viruses,
    malware, ransomware, spyware or any other harmful code or software.
  8. No placeholder content — do not create posts solely to reserve
    a username, thread position or other identifier.
  9. No confidential disclosures — do not share information that you
    are not authorised to disclose, including confidential data of
    employers, clients or third parties.
  10. Community spirit — all content should be consistent with the
    values, ethos and spirit of the Navodian community: respect,
    integrity, inclusivity and mutual support.

7. Affiliate Links & Commercial Content

7.1 Company Affiliate Links

The Forum may contain affiliate links posted by the Company or its
authorised team members. These are specially tracked links through which
the Company earns a commission if you click and complete a qualifying
action (such as a purchase or sign-up) with a third-party merchant — at
no additional cost to you.

All affiliate links posted by the Company are clearly disclosed in
accordance with our Privacy Policy
and applicable advertising standards including FTC guidelines.

7.2 Member-Posted Affiliate & Commercial Links

Community members may post affiliate links, referral codes or commercial
links in relevant categories (such as Deals, Business or Help)
subject to the following rules:

  1. Full disclosure required — you must clearly disclose any affiliate
    or referral relationship at the beginning of your post using language
    such as: “Disclosure: This is an affiliate link. I may earn a
    commission if you sign up/purchase.”
  2. Genuine recommendations only — only post affiliate links for
    products or services you have personally used or genuinely recommend
    to the Navodian community.
  3. Relevant categories only — affiliate and commercial links are
    permitted only in designated categories (Deals, Business, Help). They
    are not permitted in General, Memories, Announcements or other
    non-commercial categories.
  4. No spam — posting the same affiliate link multiple times across
    threads constitutes spam and will result in content removal and
    account action.
  5. No deceptive links — do not disguise, shorten or obscure affiliate
    links in a way that hides their commercial nature.
  6. No MLM or pyramid schemes — multi-level marketing links,
    recruitment-based commission schemes and pyramid structures are
    strictly prohibited.
  7. No financial product spam — links to investment schemes, forex
    trading platforms, cryptocurrency schemes or loan products require
    prior moderator approval.

The Company is not responsible for affiliate links posted by individual
community members, nor does the Company earn commissions from
member-posted links.

7.3 Sponsored & Paid Content

If you are posting on behalf of a brand, employer, or as a paid promoter,
you must:

  • Clearly label your post as [Sponsored] or [Paid Promotion]
  • Identify the brand or product you are promoting
  • Comply with all applicable advertising regulations in India, including
    ASCI (Advertising Standards Council of India) guidelines

Failure to disclose paid or sponsored content is a violation of these
Terms and may result in immediate post removal and account suspension.

8. Advertising

The Forum uses Google AdSense and may use other third-party advertising
networks to display advertisements. By using the Forum, you acknowledge
that:

  • Advertisements may be displayed on various pages of the Forum
  • Third-party advertisers may use cookies and tracking technologies to
    serve relevant ads
  • The Company does not endorse the products or services advertised through
    third-party networks
  • You can opt out of personalised advertising via
    Google Ads Settings

Advertisements are not shown to members above a certain trust level as
a community benefit. See our Privacy Policy

9. Enforcement

The Company reserves the right to investigate and take action against
violations of these Terms to the fullest extent permitted by law,
including:

  • Removing, editing or redacting any content that violates these Terms
  • Issuing warnings to users in breach of these Terms
  • Suspending or permanently closing accounts
  • Reporting violations to relevant law enforcement authorities in India
  • Cooperating with legal authorities in any investigation

If you believe any content on the Forum violates these Terms, please
report it immediately using the Flag feature or by contacting us at
[your-email@navodians.com].

The Company is not obligated to monitor all content on the Forum but
reserves the right to do so.

10. Your Account

10.1 Account Creation

To access certain features of the Forum, you must create an account. By
creating an account, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information, including a
    valid email address
  • Maintain and promptly update your account information
  • Be a genuine Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya alumnus or have a legitimate
    connection to the Navodian community

10.2 Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account password
  • All activities that occur under your account, whether authorised by
    you or not
  • Notifying the Company immediately at [your-email@navodians.com] if
    you suspect your account has been compromised

You agree to select a strong, unique password and not share it with
anyone.

10.3 Account Closure

You may close your account at any time by emailing
[your-email@navodians.com] with your request.

The Company may restrict, suspend or close your account if you:

  • Violate any provision of these Terms
  • Engage in behaviour that harms the Navodian community
  • Submit a copyright takedown request trigger
  • Provide false information during registration

11. Your Content

11.1 Ownership

Nothing in these Terms gives the Company ownership of intellectual
property you share on the Forum, including posts, images, files or
other content you submit. You retain ownership of your original content.

11.2 Licence to the Company

By submitting content to the Forum, you grant the Company a worldwide,
royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to:

  • Store, display, reproduce and distribute your content to other Forum
    users
  • Use your content to provide and improve the Forum services
  • Archive and back up your content for operational continuity

This licence ends when your content is removed from the Forum and all
backups and caches containing it have been purged.

11.3 Your Representations

By submitting content, you represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have the necessary rights and permissions to submit the
    content
  • Your content does not violate any third-party rights or applicable law
  • You have the right to grant the licence described in Section 11.2

11.4 Content Removal

The Company reserves the right to remove any content that violates these
Terms. You may request deletion of your own content at any time. However,
the Company may retain anonymised content to preserve community discussion
continuity.

12. Your Responsibility

You agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Phantix AI Private
Limited, its directors, officers, employees, affiliates and agents from
and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs and
expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or relating to:

  • Your use of the Forum in violation of these Terms
  • Content you submit to the Forum
  • Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual
    property rights or privacy rights
  • Any false or misleading affiliate disclosures or commercial content
    you post
  • Your violation of any applicable law

Both you and the Company agree to promptly notify each other of any legal
claim for which indemnification may be sought.

13. Disclaimers

The Forum and all content on it are provided “as is” and “as available”
without any warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not
limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose
or non-infringement.

The Company does not warrant that:

  • The Forum will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of viruses
  • Any content on the Forum is accurate, complete or up to date
  • Any affiliate product or service recommended on the Forum is suitable
    for your needs

The Forum may contain links to and integrate with services run by
third parties, including affiliate merchants and advertisers. The Company
makes no warranty about third-party services or content. Your use of
third-party services is governed by their own terms.

14. Limits on Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable Indian law:

Neither Phantix AI Private Limited nor its directors, officers,
employees or suppliers shall be liable to you for any indirect,
incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising out of
your use of or inability to use the Forum, even if we have been advised
of the possibility of such damages.

The Company’s total liability to you for any and all claims related
to the Forum shall not exceed ₹5,000 (Indian Rupees Five Thousand) or
the amount you have paid to the Company in the past 12 months, whichever
is greater.

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be
excluded under applicable Indian consumer protection law.

15. Feedback

The Company welcomes your feedback, suggestions and ideas for improving
the Forum. By submitting feedback:

  • You agree that the Company may freely use your feedback without
    obligation to notify you, seek your permission or compensate you
  • You agree not to submit feedback that you consider confidential or
    proprietary

16. Termination

Either you or the Company may end the agreement under these Terms at any
time.

  • You may terminate by closing your account and ceasing use of the
    Forum
  • The Company may terminate your access immediately if you violate
    these Terms or for any other reason at its discretion

Upon termination, your permission to use the Forum ends. The following
sections survive termination: Your Content, Feedback, Your Responsibility,
Disclaimers, Limits on Liability, Disputes & Governing Law, and General
Terms.

17. Disputes & Governing Law

17.1 Governing Law

These Terms and any dispute arising out of or related to them or your use
of the Forum shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the
laws of India, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

17.2 Jurisdiction

You and the Company agree that any legal proceedings arising out of or
related to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction
of the courts located in [Your City], India (e.g. New Delhi / Bangalore
/ the city where Phantix AI Private Limited is registered).

17.3 Dispute Resolution

Before initiating any legal proceeding, both parties agree to attempt to
resolve any dispute through good-faith negotiation for a period of at

If the dispute cannot be resolved through negotiation, it shall be
referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in accordance with
the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 of India. The arbitration
shall:

  • Be conducted by a sole arbitrator mutually agreed upon by both parties
  • Take place in [Your City], India
  • Be conducted in the English language
  • Result in a final and binding award

17.4 Class Action Waiver

You agree that any dispute shall be resolved on an individual basis only.
You waive any right to bring or participate in a class action, collective
proceeding or representative action against the Company.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer under
applicable Indian law, including the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

18. General Terms

  1. Severability — If any provision of these Terms is found to be
    unenforceable, it shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary
    to make it enforceable, or removed if it cannot be modified. All
    other provisions remain in full force.
  2. No Waiver — Failure by the Company to enforce any provision of
    these Terms does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it
    in the future.
  3. No Assignment — You may not assign your rights or obligations
    under these Terms without the Company’s prior written consent. The
    Company may assign these Terms to any affiliate, successor or acquirer.
  4. Entire Agreement — These Terms, together with our
    Privacy Policy and
    Community Guidelines,
    constitute the entire agreement between you and the Company regarding
    your use of the Forum.
  5. Language — These Terms are written in English. In the event of
    any conflict between an English version and a translated version,
    the English version shall prevail.
  6. Force Majeure — The Company shall not be liable for any failure
    or delay in performance resulting from causes beyond its reasonable
    control, including natural disasters, government actions, internet
    outages or third-party service failures.

20. Changes

The Company last updated these Terms on March 2026 and may update
them again in the future.

When we make significant changes to these Terms:

  • We will notify registered users via email (if a valid email address
    is on file)
  • We may display a prominent notice on the Forum

Your continued use of the Forum after changes are posted constitutes
your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated
Terms, you must stop using the Forum.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India and have been
drafted in compliance with:
